The Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI) today exists so that members of the residential construction industry and related businesses can conduct their business efficiently and ethically to provide the community with reliable, safe, affordable residential construction accomplished by competent professionals in the industry. The charter jurisdiction of BAGI includes Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby counties.
Hancock County Builders Council is one of six local council groups affiliated with the Builders Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI). Hancock County Builders Council members are also members of BAGI, the Indiana Builders Association (IBA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) exists to represent the building industry by serving its members and affiliated state and local builders associations.
The Indiana Builders Association (IBA) is a professional statewide association of over 5,900 members focusing on environmentally compatible, safe and affordable housing of all types. IBA works to educate its members, the general public, and all legislators and regulatory agencies to maintain and develop workable and affordable regulations and law that protect the rights of citizens to own a home.
